Tell people to comment a word and Kadenzo does the rest: it spots the keyword on your post, sends a private DM with a tap-to-confirm button, and delivers your link the moment they opt in. Capture the email or ask for a follow first, all in one dashboard.
Four steps from idea to live — and the last one runs without you.
Step 1
Pick a play, or build your own
Start from a template (the comment-a-word link play, a lead magnet with email capture, a follow gate), fill in your account, keyword and link, and turn it on: the messages are prewritten and you're live in about two minutes. Or build from scratch: choose which posts the automation watches and the word that triggers it, like “LINK” or “GUIDE.” Either way, nothing runs on anyone else's content.

Step 2
It replies in public, then opens a DM
The instant the comment lands, Kadenzo can reply under it (“Just sent you a DM! 📩”) and open a private message with a greeting and an opt-in button. That button is the point: the person taps it themselves, which opens the messaging window the right way and keeps the whole thing inside Instagram and Facebook's own rules.

Step 3
Ask for the email or the follow first
Before the link goes out, add a gate. It's the same move lead-magnet pros use. Collect the person's email (it's saved to the conversation as a lead) or, on Instagram, ask them to follow the account first. Only once they've done it does the content get delivered. Turn it off and the link goes straight out.

Step 4
Deliver, follow up, and measure
The link arrives as a clean button they can tap. If they don't click or reply, a follow-up nudge can go out hours later, automatically. And every automation shows its funnel: how many people it reached, how many opted in, and how many clicked, so you can see what's actually converting.

What you get
A visual flow builder
When one reply isn't enough, design the whole conversation on a canvas: messages with tappable buttons, questions that capture answers, and conditions that send different people down different paths.
Email capture built in
Ask for an email before the link and turn a comment into a lead. The address is saved right on the conversation, so your giveaway grows a list instead of just handing out a URL.
Require a follow first
On Instagram, gate the delivery behind a follow. The person follows, taps again, and gets the link, turning one viral post into followers, not just clicks.
An AI that knows your business
Automate direct messages and story replies with saved messages, or switch on AI and teach it your prices, hours and policies once. It answers real questions from your own facts, and says "I'll check" instead of guessing when it doesn't know.
Follow-ups that know when to fire
Add a second or third message that only sends if they didn't click or didn't reply. The nudge goes out hours later on its own, so warm leads don't go cold while you sleep.
A funnel, not a black box
Every automation reports reached → opted in → clicked. You see which keyword and which post actually convert, instead of guessing whether the bot is working.

The thinking
“Comment a word and I'll DM you the link,” without doing it by hand
It's the highest-converting call to action on social: post something useful, tell people to comment a word, and send them the link in the DMs. A message in someone's inbox gets read where a link in a caption gets ignored. The only problem is doing it by hand. A popular post can leave you a hundred DMs behind by lunch.
Almost nobody taps a link in a caption. People do read their DMs.
Kadenzo runs that play for you. You pick the post and the trigger word; when someone comments it, the automation replies under the comment and opens a private DM with a greeting and a button. They tap it and your link is delivered at any hour, whether it's the third comment or the three-thousandth.
This is your account replying to comments left on your own posts, through Instagram's and Facebook's official messaging APIs. It only ever responds to people who chose to comment on you.

Frequently asked
Which platforms does DM automation work on?
Instagram and Facebook, through their official messaging APIs. Comment-to-DM and keyword auto-replies run on both; requiring a follow before delivery is Instagram-only. It only ever acts on your own connected accounts and the comments left on your own posts.
Is auto-DMing people against Instagram or Facebook's rules?
Not the way Kadenzo does it. The automation sends an opt-in message with a button and waits for the person to tap it before delivering anything. That tap is the consent the platforms require, and it opens the messaging window the intended way. It's built to respond only to people who commented on you, never to cold-message strangers or scrape anyone's data.
Will automating DMs put my account at risk?
The patterns that get accounts in trouble are known: identical messages at volume, machine-gun send timing, and ignoring the platform's signals to slow down. Kadenzo avoids all three by design. Every message, including the opening DM every commenter receives, supports variations, with a random one sent each time. Sends are spaced with natural pacing and capped by per-account hourly ceilings, and repeat keywords from the same person don't earn repeat DMs. If Instagram or Facebook signals an account to slow down, its automation pauses briefly, resumes automatically, and you're emailed about it. Nothing keeps hammering. No tool can make guarantees on another platform's behalf, but this is a very different posture from bots that blast one fixed message as fast as the API allows.
How does the email collection work?
Add an email gate to a comment-to-DM automation. After the person taps the opt-in button, Kadenzo asks for their email; on Facebook they can share it in one tap, and on Instagram they type it. A valid address is saved to the conversation as a lead, and then the link is delivered. It's optional per automation.
Can I require people to follow me before sending the link?
Yes, on Instagram. Turn on the follow gate and the automation checks whether the person follows the account. If they don't, it asks them to follow and tap again; once they do, the link is delivered. If the check can't be completed it errs on the side of delivering, so a real lead is never left hanging.
Can I build branching conversations, not just one reply?
Yes, the flow builder. On a canvas, you connect steps into a conversation: messages with tappable buttons where each button is a branch, questions that save the answer (including validated email capture), conditions that route by tag, answer, click, or follower status, timed waits, and tagging actions. A built-in simulator lets you test every branch without sending anything, and once live, each step shows how many people reached it. The flow builder is included on Professional and Enterprise plans; simple keyword automations are on every paid plan.
Can a campaign start from outside Instagram or Facebook?
Yes, DM links. The DM link trigger gives you an ig.me or m.me link that opens a chat with your account and quietly carries a campaign tag: paste it in an email, a YouTube description, or on a QR code, and when someone new opens a chat through it, your automation or flow fires and the conversation is tagged with the campaign. Meta requires an entry point first (conversation starters on Instagram, a Get Started button on Messenger), and Kadenzo sets either up in one click and won't let a campaign go live without it.
How long does it take to set up?
Minutes, not an afternoon. Click New automation and you get a gallery of proven plays (comment-a-word-get-the-link, a lead magnet with email capture, a follow gate, AI-answered DMs) where you fill in your account, your keyword and your link, and turn it on. The messages come prewritten (with the anti-spam wording variations already in place) and every word stays editable. Flows work the same way: templates like “qualify, then deliver” or “sort your leads” open pre-built on the canvas, ready to walk through and publish.
Do the automations write replies, or do I?
Both. You write the opening message, the button label, and the delivered content yourself so it sounds like you. For DM and story-reply automations you can also switch on AI, which reads the conversation (plus the business facts you've given it) and drafts an on-brand reply, with your fixed message as the fallback if it can't respond.
Will the AI make things up about my business?
No, and this is the part most AI reply tools get wrong. You write your facts once (prices, opening hours, shipping, what you don't offer) or import them straight from a page on your site, and the AI answers only from those. Ask it something you haven't covered and it says it will check and get back to you, instead of inventing an answer. Agencies can keep a separate fact sheet per client, so one client's prices never appear in another client's DMs.
How many contacts can my automations reach?
Every paid plan includes a monthly contact allowance: 500 on Starter, 3,000 on Professional, and 20,000 on Enterprise. A “contact” is one unique person your automations message in a calendar month, and the count resets to zero on the 1st. Unlike per-contact DM tools, where everyone you've ever messaged counts against you forever, only this month's reach counts here. If you're ever close to the cap you're warned in advance; nothing stops silently.
Will a viral post blow up my bill?
No. Because the contact count resets every month and only this month's unique people count toward it, a post that reaches a lot of people is a great month, not a permanent line-item that ratchets you into a higher tier and keeps you there. You pay for what you're doing now, not for every lead you've ever collected.
