Threads Scheduler & Chain Planner
Threads lives right next to Instagram, so plan both together. Schedule posts and reply chains, cross-post from Instagram in one step, and write on a real keyboard instead of your thumb.
- Cross-post from Instagram
- Reply chains supported
Kadenzo schedules Threads posts and full reply chains, cross-posts straight from your Instagram workflow, lets you write from a desktop instead of the phone-first app, and pulls Threads mentions and keyword matches into social listening.
Post to Threads straight from your Instagram flow
Threads and Instagram share an audience, so plan them in one place. Write once, send it to both at the same time, and keep your text and visual presence moving together, without double the work.
- Send the same idea to Threads and Instagram together
- Plan reply chains before they publish
- Write and schedule from desktop, not just the app
What scheduling Threads actually takes
Threads is phone-first and conversational — this gives it a real workflow.
Plan the whole chain
Map a multi-post chain end to end and schedule the sequence to publish in order — not thumb-typed live.
500 characters, used well
A composer that counts to Threads' 500 and splits a long draft into a chain at sentence breaks.
Open the conversation
Line up your first reply so the discussion starts the moment the post lands.
Hear when you're named
Threads has real keyword search — mentions and posts that name your brand land in Kadenzo's listening feed, ready to answer.
Why not just use the Threads app?
The built-in scheduler covers the basics. Running an account needs more.
From blank page to published in four steps
- 1
Connect Threads
Link your Threads account, and Instagram, to cross-post.
- 2
Write the chain
Draft the opening post and any connected replies together, or split a long draft at sentence breaks.
- 3
Add media & a first reply
Images on any post, video on the opener, and a first reply for links on single posts.
- 4
Schedule
Pick a time and the full chain publishes on its own.
What actually works on Threads
A few habits that compound for personal brands.
Hook the first post
The opening post of a chain decides whether anyone reads on. Lead with a take or a question, not a preamble.
Keep the chain going
Threads rewards conversation. Reply to your own chain and to commenters early to keep it surfacing.
Stay conversational
It's a casual, text-first room. Opinions, questions, and human asides land better than polished announcements.
Adapt your cross-posts
Don't drop an identical Instagram caption. Reshape it for a text feed: the audience overlaps but the tone doesn't.
Threads scheduling, answered
Can I schedule Threads posts and reply chains?
Yes. Schedule single posts or full multi-post chains that publish as a connected conversation, automatically, at the time you choose.
Can I cross-post to Instagram and Threads at once?
Yes. Pick both as destinations on a single draft and the post goes live on Instagram and Threads together at your scheduled time.
Can I schedule from a desktop?
You can. Threads is phone-first, but Kadenzo lets you write, edit, and schedule from your computer, which is far easier for longer chains.
Can I schedule a first comment?
Yes, on single posts. Line up a first reply that posts right after the main one, so links or hashtags stay out of the post itself. A chain's follow-up posts are already replies, so the option steps aside there.
Can I post images and videos?
Threads supports text, images, and video, and you can schedule any of them. A single post can carry one video or a carousel of images. In a chain, images go on any post, and video goes on the opening post: a Threads rule, not ours.
Can I see who mentions my brand on Threads?
Yes. Threads is the one Meta app with a real public keyword search, and Kadenzo's social listening uses it: posts that @mention your account and posts that simply name your brand or a keyword you track land in one feed, so you can join the conversation while it's live. Listening is included from the Starter plan up.
Can I choose who can reply to a post?
Not yet from the scheduler. Posts publish with your account's default reply setting; if a specific post needs replies limited to followers or mentions, change it in the Threads app after it goes live.
Do I need an Instagram account?
Threads itself is built on an Instagram account, so you'll have one. In Kadenzo you connect Threads directly, on its own login. An Instagram connection is only needed if you want the same draft to publish to both.
Show up on Threads every week
Write it once, schedule the month, and build authority without living in the app.
