Mastodon Scheduler for Any Instance

Mastodon has no algorithm to resurface you. Timelines are strictly chronological, so consistency is everything. Schedule posts to any server and keep your Fediverse presence active without living in an app.

Any instance

Schedule to any Mastodon server

No instance lock-in. Enter your domain (mastodon.social, fosstodon.org, your own server), connect, and your Mastodon posts slot into the same calendar and composer you use for every other network.

  • Connect any instance: just enter the domain
  • Schedule posts with up to four attachments
  • Cross-post to Bluesky and Threads in one go

Built for the open social web

Mastodon spans many servers and has no algorithm — reach is something you build.

Reach across the Fediverse

Mastodon is many servers, not one — post to accounts on any instance and let hashtags carry posts across them.

No algorithm, so cadence wins

Nothing boosts you but consistency — a steady queue keeps you visible.

Media, processed first

Up to four images or a video per post — a video is uploaded and processed by your instance before the status goes out.

Several instances, one calendar

Accounts on mastodon.social, a niche server, and your own instance sit side by side — one post can go to all of them.

Why not just use most Mastodon clients?

The built-in scheduler covers the basics. Running an account needs more.

What actually works on Mastodon

A few habits that compound for personal brands.

01

Post consistently

Timelines are strictly chronological. There's no algorithm to resurface an old post. A steady cadence is the only way to stay visible.

02

Use a couple of hashtags

Hashtags are the main way posts travel across instances. Two or three relevant tags do far more here than they would on other networks.

03

Describe your images

The Mastodon community takes accessibility seriously. Described images are expected and tend to earn more boosts, so post the image-led updates you want described natively until Kadenzo adds the field.

04

Boost and reply

Reach comes from people, not a feed algorithm. Boosting others and replying genuinely is how your account gets seen.

Mastodon scheduling, answered

Which instances are supported?

All of them. Kadenzo connects through the standard Mastodon API: enter your instance domain when you connect, and you can add accounts from several instances side by side.

How do I connect my account?

Enter your instance domain (the part after the @ in your handle) and you'll be sent to that server to authorize Kadenzo, and no password is ever shared.

Can I schedule images and video?

Yes, up to four attachments per post, matching Mastodon's own cap. A video is uploaded first and Kadenzo waits for your instance to finish processing it before the post goes out, so nothing publishes with a broken attachment.

Can I add alt text, a content warning, or set visibility?

Not yet. Posts publish as public, without a content warning, and images go out without a description. For the posts where any of those matter (a CW, a followers-only update, an image that needs describing) post those in the app for now.

What's the character limit?

Kadenzo counts to Mastodon's 500-character default as you type, and lets you tailor the Mastodon version of a cross-posted update separately. If your instance allows more than 500, the counter still stops at 500 here.

Can a flaky instance make it post twice?

Kadenzo records every publish attempt per account before it sends, so a retry after a hiccup first checks whether that post already went out to that account and skips it if it did, rather than sending again blind.

Can I cross-post to other networks?

Yes. Write once and publish to Mastodon, Bluesky, and Threads together, with each platform's limits handled for you.

Works great with Mastodon

Cross-post and manage every channel from one calendar — schedule once and let each platform publish on its own.
