Kadenzo is the scheduler Bluesky doesn't include. Queue posts and threads ahead of time, keep a steady cadence on a chronological feed, post native video and links that actually click, and cross-post the same idea to X and beyond.

The scheduler Bluesky doesn't include

There's no native way to plan posts on Bluesky. Kadenzo is the missing layer: write a week of posts and threads, drop them onto a calendar, and let them publish on time without you living in the app.

  • Queue posts and threads ahead of time
  • Stay consistent on a chronological feed
  • Cross-post the same idea to X and more

What scheduling Bluesky actually takes

An open, chronological network — consistency and good hygiene do the work.

Feeds, not an algorithm

Bluesky runs on chronological and custom feeds, not a black box — steady posting is how you stay in them.

Reply chains past 300

300 characters per post — plan longer thoughts as connected reply chains that publish in order.

Links that actually click

Bluesky doesn't auto-detect URLs — Kadenzo adds the link and @mention markup so they publish clickable, not as dead text.

Native video, transcoded

Up to 100 MB or three minutes per post, sent through Bluesky's own video service so it plays inline in the feed.

Why not just use the Bluesky app?

The built-in scheduler covers the basics. Running an account needs more.

What actually works on Bluesky

A few habits that compound for personal brands.

01

Show up on a schedule

There's no algorithm to game. The feed is chronological. Posting at consistent times when your audience is around matters more than any trick.

02

Describe your images

Bluesky's community expects described images. Alt text widens reach, helps screen-reader users, and signals you actually belong there, so post the image-led updates you want described natively until Kadenzo adds the field.

03

Lead a thread with a hook

Past 300 characters you'll need a thread. Make the first post earn the swipe: a sharp line, not a slow warm-up.

04

Engage, don't broadcast

Reposts and replies move further than one-off announcements here. Treat it as a conversation, not a billboard.

Bluesky scheduling, answered

Does Bluesky have post scheduling?

Not natively. Bluesky has no built-in scheduler. Kadenzo adds it: write posts and threads in advance and they publish at the times you set, no app required.

Can I schedule threads on Bluesky?

Yes. Schedule a multi-post thread and it publishes as connected replies, ideal for thoughts that run past the 300-character limit.

Can I add alt text and link cards?

Not yet, either one. Links do publish as clickable links. Bluesky needs explicit link markup that many tools skip, and Kadenzo adds it, but they don't unfurl into a preview card, and images publish without alt text. If a described image or a card matters for a particular post, post that one natively.

Can I schedule video?

Yes. Bluesky accepts videos up to 100 MB or three minutes, and Kadenzo sends yours through Bluesky's own video service, which transcodes it so it plays inline in the feed like any native upload.

Can I see who mentions my brand on Bluesky?

Yes. Bluesky has an open search, and Kadenzo's social listening runs your keywords against it, so posts that name your brand or a topic you track land in one feed next to your other networks. Listening is included from the Starter plan up.

How does connecting work?

With your handle and an app password, a separate password you create in Bluesky's settings, so your main login never leaves Bluesky and you can revoke it any time. Accounts hosted on bsky.social are supported; self-hosted servers aren't yet.

Can I cross-post to X at the same time?

Yes. Write once and send the same idea to Bluesky and X (plus other networks) so your text-first audiences stay in sync.

Can I connect more than one Bluesky account?

You can connect multiple Bluesky accounts and schedule to any of them from one dashboard.

Show up on Bluesky every week

Write it once, schedule the month, and build authority without living in the app.

Works great with Bluesky

Cross-post and manage every channel from one calendar — schedule once and let each platform publish on its own.
