Fresh Pins, weeks ahead

A season of fresh Pins, planned in one sitting

Pinterest rewards fresh Pins and a steady cadence, not one big dump. Queue a run of new Pins, each to the board it fits and each with its own keywords, spaced out over weeks, so something of yours surfaces in search every day instead of once.

  • Each Pin to the board it belongs on, across every connected account
  • See the queue as a grid before anything publishes
  • Queue seasonal content months ahead of demand

Schedule every kind of Pin

However you publish on Pinterest, it lands in one calendar.

What scheduling Pinterest actually takes

Pinterest is a search engine with a long memory — Pins work for months, not minutes.

Pins are evergreen

A Pin keeps driving traffic for months — schedule a steady stream of fresh ones and let the back catalog compound.

Straight to the right board

Schedule each Pin to its board, across every account, from one calendar.

Built for outbound traffic

Unlike most feeds, Pinterest wants the click — every Pin carries its link back to your site.

Keywords do the work

Pinterest ranks Pins by what you write — plan titles and descriptions around the terms people search.

Why not just post from the app?

The native app is fine for one post. A planner is for running an account.

A few habits that compound on Pinterest.

01

Think like a search engine

Pinterest is search, not social. Put real keywords in Pin titles and descriptions so people find them months from now, not just today.

02

Go vertical

A 2:3 ratio (1000×1500) takes up more of the feed and gets saved more. Design Pins tall, with text legible at thumbnail size.

03

Plan two to three months ahead

Pinners search early. Start holiday content in September and summer content in March, and let the Pins mature before demand peaks.

04

Consistency over volume

A handful of fresh Pins a day, steadily, beats fifty in one burst then silence. A reliable cadence is what the algorithm rewards.

Pinterest scheduling, answered

Can I schedule Pins to group boards?

Yes. Schedule to any group board you belong to, which is one of the best ways to reach beyond your own followers.

Can I send one Pin to several boards?

Each scheduled Pin goes to one board. To put the same idea on a second board, schedule it again with a fresh image and its own title, which is what Pinterest wants anyway, since it treats a new image as a fresh Pin and a repeat as a duplicate.

Can I schedule video Pins and carousels as well as standard Pins?

Yes. Image Pins, video Pins, and carousels of two to five images all schedule from the same composer, and the Pin type is worked out from what you upload. Two Pinterest rules apply: every image in a carousel needs the same aspect ratio, and a Pin holds one video, not several. Idea Pins no longer exist as a separate format. Pinterest folded them into the standard Pin.

Can I see which Pins send traffic?

Partly. Kadenzo's analytics pull in each Pin's views (Pinterest impressions) and an engagement figure that combines saves, Pin clicks, and outbound clicks, shown over time and next to your other networks. It doesn't yet break outbound clicks out as their own column, so for a per-Pin traffic table use Pinterest's own analytics alongside it.

Will my Pins show as Rich Pins?

Rich Pins come from your site's metadata, not the scheduler. If your pages have the right markup, Pins scheduled through Kadenzo display as Rich Pins.

How far ahead should I schedule seasonal content?

Pinterest itself suggests two to three months. The calendar makes it easy to batch a season of Pins and queue them weeks in advance.

Can I bulk-schedule a lot of Pins at once?

Yes. Drop up to 15 images into one batch, give each its title and description, pick the board, and spread the publish times over days or weeks. Run another batch for the next board.

Works great with Pinterest

Cross-post and manage every channel from one calendar — schedule once and let each platform publish on its own.
